Having adhered to a gruelling training plan, and powered by Mutzig, they completed the course in an amazing 6 hours - well done indeed old chaps! A couple of weekends ago, they also took part in the Wan Day endurance event through the Pentland Hills, finishing in a very respectable 26th place. All that training must be paying off! As pool health and safety specialists, we annually carry out the relevant training for the clubs, covering the entire UK. Surprisingly enough, there are no specific health and safety regulations governing swimming pools (or paddling pools and other non-standard facilities). The HSE's guidelines are simply intended to help pool operators meet the goal-setting requirements described within the relevant sections of legislation.
