<title>New members of the team...</title>
<description>Following a year that has seen an unprecedented increase in demand for our services, here at pitchblue - innovative as we are -  we've decided to capitalise on the current and apparent demand for solid leadership development programmes. 

We are therefore about to finalise several new, cutting edge programmes for launch in early 2012 and we'll be giving you more news on these in the weeks to come.

To help us in managing all this, we have appointed a new Business Development Manager to help Pam look after all of our lovely existing clients (poor old dear isn't getting any younger and is run off her feet!) and with an aim to attract new ones and further increase brand awareness for us throughout various parts of the globe. 

So it's all go here, as usual - no rest for the wicked and all that...did someone mention a headless chicken...??? </description>

<title>Leadership in action...</title>
<description>As those that know us well will agree, leadership is all about both physical and mental fitness, so earlier this year, Jason and colleague Euan took part in the Pass'Portes Du Soleil, a gruelling 85k mountain biking race around the Swiss and French Alps. 

Having adhered to a hectic training plan, and powered by Mutzig, they completed the course in an amazing 6 hours - well done indeed old chaps! A couple of weekends ago, they also took part in the Wan Day endurance event through the Pentland Hills, finishing in a very respectable 26th place. All that training must be paying off! 

Pam is running around the highland capital this weekend in the Baxters Inverness 10k and the team are looking forward to the winter season and of course, the 2012 LAMM this summer!

Firstly any solution we create will be developed after a robust diagnostic, where we work with you to identify your needs, wants, outputs and targets from the work we do together, and also where we  identify the challenges that you face right now.  We then combine the results of this diagnostic with current thought leadership and leadership best practice to create a solution that works for you and delivers exactly what you want and need.

The second reason we use the phrase 'intelligent' is that we use emotional intelligence (EI) as a cornerstone of the majority of our leadership development programmes.  There is so much research indicating that those people with a solid handle on their own EI are significantly more successful than those that don't, it just makes sense!
